Neoclassical Fusion Violin

Dark & Intense Original String Music / Improvisation

I create Violin Fusion Music.  My performances range from  acoustic to Live looping with all the bells and whistles.  I enjoy using a drum pad, and lots of violin effects like reverbs, delays, distorsions, flangers, to create a full band feel.  I use a Pog Drop Octave pedal, to make my violin sound like a Cello, and Bass, and layer it in as well. I also am a a part of Alchemical String Theory, a group of outsider string artists from Atlanta's improvisational underground.

Masquerade On North, named in memory of the legendary and infamous Atlanta rock venue, is a string collaboration between Paul Mercer (Faith and the Muse, The Changelings, The Ghosts Project), and I.  It was recorded live in studio in one take.  I played my song on Viola, and Paul improvised over it on Violin.  What your hearing, is the first time we had ever played this song together.   It felt like a magical 4 minutes.  I hope you enjoy it.
